Well now, how do you make them little critters, the Pals, happier? It ain’t rocket science, I tell ya. Just like us, they need some rest and a bit of fun. Let me tell ya what I know, learned it from watchin’ ’em day in and day out.

First off, them Pals, they work hard. Always haulin’ stuff, buildin’ things, and fightin’ off them bad guys. So, they need a good place to sleep, right? Don’t skimp on the beds! Them fancy upgraded beds, they ain’t just for show. They make the Pals sleep better, and a well-rested Pal is a happy Pal, I reckon. I saw one fella, built the fanciest beds he could. Them Pals, they were chipper as could be, workin’ like little beavers all day long.

Now, workin’ ain’t everything. Even I like to sit down and have a cup of tea now and then. Pals need a break too. They take breaks on their own, but you can make them breaks better. How? Hot springs, that’s the ticket! Yeah, hot springs. Like a big ol’ bathtub, but outside and all natural-like.

I heard tell that you gotta build one hot spring for every five Pals. They don’t like sharin’ too much, it seems. So, if you got ten Pals, you need two hot springs. Twenty Pals? Four hot springs. You get the picture. It’s like havin’ enough chairs at the dinner table. Nobody wants to stand around while everyone else is sittin’ comfy.

• Build enough hot springs: one for every five Pals.
• Upgrade them beds: Get the fancy ones, not them rickety old things.

Building a hot spring ain’t hard. You need some wood, about thirty pieces, and some stone, fifteen should do it. You can find that stuff all over the place. Then, you just gotta find a nice spot to put it. Somewhere sunny, maybe, where the Pals can relax and soak up the warmth. It’s like buildin’ a fire pit, but with water, and more fancy-like.

I seen some folks, they just let their Pals work and work and work. Don’t feed ’em proper, don’t give ’em a nice place to sleep, and no hot springs neither. Them Pals, they get all grumpy and sad. They don’t work as hard, and sometimes, they just up and quit. It’s like tryin’ to milk a cow that ain’t been fed. Ain’t gonna get much, are ya?

So, treat them Pals right. Give ’em good beds, let ’em soak in the hot springs, and make sure they get enough to eat. A happy Pal is a hard-workin’ Pal, that’s what I always say. It’s common sense, really. You treat folks right, they’ll treat you right back. Same goes for them critters, the Pals.

And don’t forget to keep an eye on them. If they seem down, maybe they need another hot spring, or maybe their bed is gettin’ worn out. Just like us, they got their good days and bad days. But a little bit of care goes a long way. It ain’t about the fancy stuff, it’s about the little things. A good bed, a warm soak, and a full belly. That’s all it takes to keep them Pals happy and workin’ hard.
