Well now, let me tell ya ’bout this TotK Desert Coliseum thing, whatever that is. Sounds fancy, but it ain’t nothin’ too complicated, ya hear? It’s just a big ol’ place, like a circle, they say, somewhere in that Gerudo Desert. Heard tell it’s down in the Depths, way down in the dark, in the southwest corner, like. Land’s gotta lotta these coliseums, seems like, but this one’s special, they say.
Now, how ya get there? That’s the question, ain’t it? Gotta go lookin’ around the desert, I reckon. And it ain’t just an empty place, no sirree. Got all sorts of nasty critters in there. Horriblins, they call ’em. Sticking to the ceiling, like flies on honey, but meaner. And you gotta fight ’em, if you wanna get the goods.
- First, you gotta find the place, that Desert Coliseum. In the Depths, they say. Southwest corner, Gerudo Desert.
- Then, you gotta deal with them Horriblins. They say a spear or somethin’ long is best. Reach ’em high up, ya know.
- Once you beat them critters, there’s a treasure chest. Got a Sheik’s Mask inside. Fancy stuff, probably.
And there’s more to it, they tell me. Somethin’ ’bout a cave, inside the Coliseum. Got a statue with a hole in its hands, and you gotta put a sword in there. A Soldier’s Claymore, to be exact. Gotta match the other statue, they say. Then the cave opens up. What’s inside? Who knows? More treasure, maybe. Or maybe just more trouble.
They say this ain’t the only Coliseum, mind you. There’s others. And this Desert one ain’t even the hardest, they say. There’s a Floating Coliseum, that’s the real tough one. Hanging under some ruins, they say. Close to somethin’ called a Mu-ustust Lightroot. Sounds like a mouthful to me.
So, you go down there, in that desert, and you find this Coliseum. Big circle, like. You fight them Horriblins, get the mask. You find the cave, put the sword in the statue’s hand. And then, who knows? Maybe you find more treasure, maybe you just get outta there alive. It’s all a big adventure, they tell me. Like them young folks like to do. Me? I’d rather stay home and make some stew, but you youngsters, you go on and have your fun. Just be careful, ya hear? That desert’s a dangerous place, and them Horriblins ain’t nothin’ to sneeze at.
Where is the Desert Coliseum again? It’s down in the Depths, southwest corner of the Gerudo Desert. Can’t miss it, they say. Big ol’ circle. Just watch out for them Horriblins. And don’t forget that sword for the statue, ya hear? Soldier’s Claymore, that’s what they call it. Gotta find that cave in the back wall too.
And that Floating Coliseum? Hardest one of ’em all. Underneath some ruins, they say. Near that Mu-ustust Lightroot thingy. Sounds like a whole heap of trouble to me, but if you’re lookin’ for a challenge, that’s where you gotta go. Just remember what I told ya, and maybe you’ll come out alright. Maybe.
