Well, well, well, lookie here, talkin’ ’bout offerin’ somethin’ to this Mystra in BG3. Never heard of her ’til now, but seems folks wanna give her stuff. Don’t rightly know why, but they say it’s in some kinda tabernacle, the Stormshore Tabernacle they call it, down in that Lower City of Baldur’s Gate. City folk and their fancy names, I swear.

Now, from what I gather, it ain’t just Mystra folks are prayin’ to. Seems like there’s a whole bunch of them gods, like Helm, Selne, Tyr, and a whole lot more. They got statues of ’em all lined up, and you can go and give ’em somethin’. What you give ’em, I don’t rightly know. City folk got all sorts of trinkets and whatnot. Maybe they give gold, maybe they give prayers, maybe they give somethin’ else entirely. They say you get some kinda bonus for doin’ it, whatever that means. Probably some city magic, nothin’ us country folk need to worry about.

BG3 Mystra Offering: A Simple Guide to Prayers & Items

They also talk about somethin’ called “Dedications to the Pantheon.” Sounds mighty fancy, huh? It’s just a list of prayers, they say. Prayers to all them different gods. Seems like there’s a prayer for everythin’. Blindness, light, you name it. They even got a prayer for some dragon god, Bahamut or somethin’. Imagine prayin’ to a dragon! City folk are strange, I tell ya.

  • Stormshore Tabernacle: That’s where they do all this offerin’ stuff. Down in the Lower City.
  • Statues of Gods: They got a whole bunch of ’em. Helm, Mystra, Selne, Tyr, and who knows who else.
  • Offerings: That’s what you give the gods. Don’t know what exactly, but it’s somethin’.
  • Bonuses: Apparently, you get somethin’ back for givin’ somethin’. City magic, I reckon.
  • Dedications to the Pantheon: A fancy name for a list of prayers. Prayers for everythin’ and everybody.

Now, there’s this other place they talk about, Moonrise Tower. Sounds spooky, don’t it? Apparently, there’s a fella named Baltasar there, got himself a secret room. In that room, you can do somethin’ with a shadow lantern or mess with a ritual circle. If you mess with the circle, they say Mystra gives you her blessin’. Gives you some kinda advantage, whatever that means. Again, city magic. We country folk just rely on good ol’ hard work and common sense.

So, this Mystra, she seems important, what with folks offerin’ her stuff and givin’ out blessings and all. But I still don’t rightly know why. Maybe she helps the crops grow, maybe she keeps the rain comin’, maybe she just likes shiny things. Who knows with these gods? City folk got their ways, and we got ours. I reckon I’ll stick to prayin’ for good weather and a bountiful harvest, and leave all this fancy offerin’ to them city slickers.

Anyway, that’s the gist of it. Folks offerin’ stuff to Mystra and other gods in Baldur’s Gate 3, down at that Stormshore Tabernacle. They get some bonuses, they read some fancy prayers, and they mess around with shadow lanterns and ritual circles. City folk, I tell ya. Always up to somethin’. Me? I’m just gonna stick to my chores and leave the god business to them. But if you’re in Baldur’s Gate and feeling generous, maybe go ahead and leave Mystra some flowers or somethin’. Can’t hurt, right?

I heard some city folks whisperin’ about how important this Mystra is to magic and such. They say she’s the goddess of magic, or somethin’ like that. Guess that explains why they’re all so keen on givin’ her stuff. Magic users, you know, they need all the help they can get. Always fiddlin’ with spells and whatnot. Probably more trouble than they’re worth, if you ask me.

So, if you’re playin’ this Baldur’s Gate 3 and you come across that Stormshore Tabernacle, you’ll know what’s what. It’s where they do all that god offerin’. And if you decide to offer somethin’ to Mystra, well, that’s your business. Just remember what I said: city magic is a funny thing. Don’t go expectin’ miracles, but maybe you’ll get a little somethin’ for your trouble. And if you see a dragon god, well, you just run the other way. That’s my advice, anyway.
