Alright, let’s talk about this Starfield Top Secrets quest, ya hear? It ain’t rocket science, but it can be a bit tricky if you don’t know what’s what.

First off, you gotta get yourself mixed up with them Ryujin Industries folks. You know, the big shots in Neon City. Gotta do a job for ’em called “Maintaining the Edge.” Once you finish that, boom, this Top Secrets thing just pops up. No need to go lookin’ for it, it finds you. Like a stray dog, you know?

So, they send you off to meet this Ularu Chen fella. He’s hangin’ around the tippy-top floor of the Ryujin building, in the Executive Offices. Fancy place, all shiny and whatnot. He’s the one who gets you started on this whole mess, sendin’ you off to find some snitch with the goods on somethin’ big. Real big, they say.

Now, this snitch, she’s a tough cookie named Malai. You gotta get a special gun from her, this Ember pistol. Don’t ask me why, just do it. You can try sweet-talkin’ her, you know, persuade her to give it up nice and easy. But if that don’t work, well, you gotta do what you gotta do. Let’s just say she ain’t gonna be needin’ that pistol no more.

  • Meet Ularu Chen in Neon City’s Ryujin Tower.
  • Find Malai and get the Ember pistol.
  • Either Persuade Malai or, well, you know…
  • Take the pistol back to Simon.

Once you got that pistol, you gotta take it back to this Simon fella. He’s the one who really wants it, made a deal with ya. He’s a sly one, that Simon. Always lookin’ out for number one. You tell him you got the goods, and he’ll be happy as a pig in mud. But don’t think it’s over yet, not by a long shot.

Then comes the sneaky part. You gotta go snoopin’ around in some fella named Stanley’s computer. And you can’t just waltz right in, oh no. You gotta be sneaky, like a fox in a henhouse. Crouch down, keep quiet, and only start fiddlin’ with the lock when nobody’s lookin’. It’s called “digipickin’,” they say. Sounds fancy, but it’s just fiddlin’ with wires and whatnot, like fixin’ a busted toaster.

Once you’re in the computer, you gotta digipick again to get to the real juicy stuff, the Project Dominion files. Sounds important, right? Probably is. Simon wants ’em bad, real bad. And that’s pretty much it.

Oh, and one more thing about Simon. That fella, he might try to change the deal on ya. Might ask for more money or try to get ya to do another job for him. Greedy, I tell ya. If you got that Andreja girl with ya, she’s pretty good at arguin’. Lets her do the talkin’ if you can. Otherwise, well, you gotta figure it out yourself.

So, that’s the long and short of it. This Starfield Top Secrets quest ain’t so bad once you know what to do. Just gotta be a little sneaky, a little tough, and maybe a little lucky. And don’t let them city slickers try to pull a fast one on ya. You hear?
