Alright, listen up, y’all. Let’s talk about this here… ssn survey starfield thing, whatever that means. I ain’t no fancy city folk, so I’ll just tell it to ya straight, like it is.
So, this Starfield game, it’s got all these planets and stuff. You gotta go around, lookin’ at ’em, scannin’ ’em, and figurin’ out what’s what. It’s like when you’re lookin’ for lost chickens, but way bigger and with more rocks. And these city fellas, they call it “surveyn’.” Sounds mighty important, don’t it?
Now, they got these questions, like, “Where’s this Coe fella’s day at?” And you gotta say, “Akila.” Or they’ll ask, “Where’s that Red Mile runnin’ race?” And it’s “Porrima.” Sounds like somethin’ my grandpappy used to do, runnin’ from the revenuers, but I guess it’s different in space.
But here’s the thing, this “surveyn’” ain’t easy. You go to a planet, wander around, lookin’ at everything. Rocks, plants, critters – you name it, you gotta look at it. And then you use this fancy scanner thing. It beeps and boops and tells you stuff, but sometimes it don’t tell you everything. You’re stuck at like, 88% done, and you’re lookin’ around like a lost goose, wonderin’ where the last bits are hidin’. Those darn question marks just sittin’ there, mockin’ ya.
- First, you gotta land your ship. That ain’t always easy, them planets ain’t always flat.
- Then, you start walkin’. And walkin’. And walkin’ some more. My achin’ knees ain’t made for all this walkin’, I tell ya.
- You whip out that scanner and start lookin’ at stuff. Rocks, plants, animals, whatever’s there.
- The scanner tells ya what it is, most of the time. Sometimes it just says “unknown” which ain’t helpful at all.
- You keep walkin’ and scannin’ until you think you’ve seen it all. But you probably haven’t.
People are always askin’, “What’s the best way to do this?” Well, I ain’t no expert, but I’ll tell ya what I do. I just keep walkin’ and lookin’. Try to go everywhere. Up hills, down valleys, in caves, everywhere. And you gotta pay attention. Don’t just wander around like a cow in a cornfield. Look close at things. Sometimes the thing you need to scan is tiny, or hidin’ under a rock. It’s like lookin’ for them darn mushrooms in the woods after a rain, they ain’t just gonna jump out and say, “Here I am!”
And sometimes, it just ain’t possible to get 100%. Maybe there’s a bug, maybe the planet’s broke, I don’t know. But don’t go frettin’ about it too much. It ain’t the end of the world. There’s plenty of other planets to scan. Just like there’s plenty of other chickens to chase.
So that’s my take on this here ssn survey starfield business. It’s just walkin’, lookin’, and scannin’. And hopin’ you find everything. And if you don’t, well, there’s always another planet out there waitin’ to be explored. It’s like life, I guess. You just keep on keepin’ on, doin’ the best you can, and hope for the best. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go feed my chickens.
Remember, ain’t nothin’ perfect in this world, not even them fancy space games. Just do your best, and don’t let them city folk and their fancy words fool ya. It’s all just common sense, really.
And one last thing, if you see any of them space chickens, let me know. I bet they lay some mighty fine eggs.
Here’s some extra tips, just for good measure:
- Upgrade your scanner when you can. It helps you see things farther away and gives you more information.
- Check your map often. It shows you where you’ve been and where you still need to go.
- Bring plenty of supplies. You don’t want to run out of oxygen or medicine in the middle of nowhere.
- Don’t be afraid to ask for help. Them folks on the internet know a lot about this stuff, even if they talk funny.
