Alright, listen up, y’all. Let’s talk about this Earth Savior Award thingy and whether you should give it to that Naeva gal or not. I ain’t no fancy scholar or nothin’, just tellin’ it like it is, the way I see it.
First off, what’s this award all about? Seems like some big deal, this “Earth Savior” thing. Folks are sayin’ you get it after doin’ some work for the Crimson Fleet. Sounds like a bunch of pirates to me, but hey, each to their own.
Now, you got this award, and you gotta decide what to do with it. Keep it or give it away? That’s the question, ain’t it? Some folks say you can sell it for a whole heap of credits. Money’s always nice, can’t deny that. Helps you buy stuff, you know, food, fixin’s for the spaceship, whatever you need.
- Keeping the award: Means more money in your pocket. You can buy better guns, better ship parts, maybe even a fancy hat. Who knows? The sky’s the limit, or maybe the space is the limit, I dunno. But money ain’t everything, that’s for sure.
- Giving the award to Naeva: Now, that’s a different story. Folks say it earns you her respect. Respect’s important too, you know. Especially with these pirate types. Maybe she’ll help you out later, maybe she won’t. It’s a gamble, just like plantin’ crops – sometimes they grow, sometimes they don’t.
This Naeva, she’s part of the Crimson Fleet, right? So, givin’ her the award, it might make her happy. But then again, she might just take it and run, leavin’ you with nothin’. That’s the trouble with dealin’ with them pirates, you never know what they’re gonna do.
I heard tell that if you give it to her, she says somethin’ about splittin’ it three ways. Three ways? With who? Some other pirate fella, I guess. Makes you wonder if you’re gettin’ a good deal, don’t it? And if you try to steal it, this Sheila Holbrook shows up. Sounds like trouble to me.
Then there’s this talk about a persuasion check. Seems like if you wanna get the key card to the safe where the award is, you gotta sweet talk somebody. And it ain’t easy, apparently. Folks are sayin’ it’s the hardest persuasion check they ever seen. Sounds like a pain in the neck to me. I’d rather just go dig for potatoes, honestly.
So, what’s the best thing to do? Well, it depends on what you want. You want money? Keep the darn thing and sell it. You want respect from a pirate? Give it to Naeva. But remember, pirates are pirates, you can’t always trust ’em. Just like you can’t always trust the weather, if you ask me.
It all comes down to what matters most to you. Are you lookin’ for a quick buck? Or are you tryin’ to make friends in high places, even if those places are full of space pirates? It’s your choice, ain’t nobody gonna make it for you.
In my opinion? Well, I ain’t givin’ no advice, mind you. I’m just tellin’ you what I heard and what I think. Me, I’d probably keep the award and sell it. Money is something useful always, even on Earth or in space. But then again, maybe Naeva would be a good friend to have, maybe she ain’t. It’s a gamble, just like life, I reckon. You can never be sure for sure.
And that’s all I gotta say about that. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go tend to my chickens. They don’t care about no Earth Savior Award, that’s for sure. They just want their corn, and so do I.
