Well, let me tell ya ’bout this here stone thing, the “stone to the south ff16,” or whatever them city folks call it. I ain’t no scholar, mind you, just an old woman who’s seen a thing or two.
So, this story, it’s about some rocks, see? Special rocks, they say. They call ’em “Mothercrystals” or somethin’ fancy like that. And there’s these folks, the “Tabor” people, they gotta look after ’em. Why? Well, seems like their ancestors messed up somethin’ fierce, and this here rock-watching is their punishment, or maybe their duty, I dunno. It’s all the same to me.
Now, there’s this fella, Milos. He’s one of them “Antiquarian” types, likes old stuff, you know? He’s all worked up ’bout some writin’ on these rocks, wants to figure out what it all means. Says somethin’ about “Guardians” and “noble blood” and “Mothers’ Labor.” Sounds like a whole lotta trouble to me. Why can’t folks just leave well enough alone?
Anyways, Milos, he needs help. Can’t do it all by himself, I guess. He sends ya runnin’ around, lookin’ at this inscription and that inscription. You gotta climb stairs, too. My old knees would be creakin’ somethin’ awful, but these young folks, they got energy to burn.
And then there’s this other stone, the “Arete Stone.” It ain’t just sittin’ there pretty, oh no. It does stuff. Gives ya new tricks, new ways to fight, I reckon. But you gotta earn it, see? Gotta beat some nasty critters first. Like this “Midnight Raven” fella. Sounds spooky, don’t it? And there’s more, you gotta beat someone called Agni to get a “Stone Tongue.” I ain’t sure what that is, but it sounds important to these young folks.
- First, you gotta beat that Midnight Raven.
- Then, you go after somethin’ called Agni for the Stone Tongue.
- And don’t forget about climbin’ them stairs for Milos and his inscriptions.
And if you’re into makin’ stuff, there’s this “Ouroboros Design Draft” thing. Sounds like a snake bitin’ its own tail, if you ask me. But to get it, you gotta help out this blacksmith fella. He’s got the blues, they say. Gotta fix his problems before he’ll give you the goods. Seems like everyone’s got problems these days.
So, that’s the gist of it, as far as I can tell. Lots of runnin’ around, lots of fightin’, lots of readin’ old rocks. These young folks, they sure do like to keep busy. Me? I’d rather just sit on the porch with a glass of somethin’ cold, but someone’s gotta tell these stories, right? Even if it’s just an old woman who don’t understand half of it.
This whole “stone to the south ff16” thing, it’s a puzzle, that’s for sure. And it ain’t just about rocks, it’s about people, too. Their history, their troubles, their fights. And it all comes down to these stones, these silent witnesses to everything that’s happened. Makes ya think, don’t it?
So if you’re gonna go messin’ with these stones, be careful, you hear? They ain’t just rocks, they’re…well, I don’t rightly know what they are. But they’re important, that much I can tell ya. And folks will go to great lengths to protect ‘em, or to use ‘em, or to just understand ‘em. Just like that Milos fella, and all them young fighters. They’re all tangled up in this stone business, one way or another.
And that’s all I got to say about that. Go on now, get outta here. You got rocks to find and inscriptions to read.
