Now, once you’re done with school, you gotta start lookin’ for a job. In that there “Career” section, that’s where you’ll find it. You’ll see all sorts of jobs, but you wanna keep your eyes peeled for the “Apprentice Auto Mechanic” gig. That’s your ticket in, see? That’s the starting point, the bottom rung, you understand?

Don’t go thinkin’ you’ll be runnin’ the whole shop right off the bat. You’ll be startin’ as an apprentice, learnin’ the ropes from some old-timer, probably. You’ll be changin’ oil, fixin’ tires, doin’ all the grunt work. But that’s how you learn, ain’t it? You gotta get your hands dirty before you can call yourself a real mechanic.
Now, BitLife, it’s a game, right? So, you gotta pay attention to them bars and stats and such. Keep your character happy and healthy. You know, like in real life. If you’re miserable and sick all the time, you ain’t gonna be much good at fixin’ cars, that’s for sure. Gotta keep them smarts up too. Mechanics, they gotta be smart, gotta figure out what’s wrong with them engines. So study hard, at least in the game, and keep yourself in good shape, both mind and body!
And don’t be afraid to work hard. This ain’t no desk job. You’ll be on your feet all day, liftin’ heavy stuff, gettin’ greasy. But if you stick with it, you’ll move up. You’ll go from apprentice to junior mechanic, then maybe to full mechanic, and who knows, maybe one day you’ll own your own shop! Hard work pays off, even in a silly phone game.
Sometimes, in that there game, things don’t go your way. Maybe you can’t find the apprenticeship right away. Don’t you go frettin’. Just keep lookin’, keep your eyes open. Maybe you gotta take a different job for a while, save up some money, and then try again later. Life ain’t always a straight line, and neither is BitLife, it seems. Don’t get discouraged, keep trying, and you’ll get there eventually.
And one more thing, don’t go gamblin’ away all your money or doin’ anything foolish. You need money to live, even in that game world. And if you wanna own your own shop one day, you’ll need even more. So be smart with your money, save up, and don’t go wastin’ it on foolish things. Saving your money is important, for a good virtual life and a good shop.
So, that’s about it. Get through school, get that apprentice job, work hard, keep yourself healthy and happy, and don’t be a fool with your money. Do all that, and you’ll be a mechanic in BitLife in no time. It ain’t that hard, even an old woman like me can figure it out. Now go on, get to it!
