[Body]
Alright, alright, let’s talk about this Voss fella from Baldur’s Gate 3. I ain’t no fancy scholar, mind you, just tellin’ it like I see it. So, this Voss, he’s one of them Githyanki fellers, you know, the pointy-eared ones? Seems like he’s kinda important, a leader or somethin’.
Now, from what I gather, this Voss, he shows up at your camp. Yeah, your camp! Just barges right in, like an uninvited guest at a potluck. He’s got this problem, see? Someone’s locked up in some kinda fancy prison, a “Astral Prism” they call it. Sounds like somethin’ out of a fairy tale, if you ask me.
Voss and the Astral Prism
Anyway, Voss, he wants your help to bust this fella out. Says he needs you to bring this Prism to… well, he doesn’t say exactly where, but it’s important, that much is clear. Now, you gotta decide if you wanna help him or not. It’s a big choice, this is. This whole game is full of big choices, like whether to eat the last piece of pie or save it for later.
- Help Voss, maybe get on his good side.
- Tell him to take a hike, and go your own way.
From what folks are sayin’, Voss ain’t such a bad guy, for a Githyanki anyway. He’s against all them oppressors and such. So, if you’re the type who likes to stick up for the little guy, you might wanna side with him. But don’t take my word for it, you gotta make up your own mind.
The Hammer and the Githyanki
Now, there’s this other thing, this hammer. Seems like it’s important too. If you got this hammer and you got Lae’zel in your group – that’s another one of them pointy-eared Githyankis – you gotta talk to Voss about it. It’s a whole thing, gotta tell him about the hammer to get them Githyanki on your side in the big fight at the end.
It’s like gatherin’ folks for a barn raisin’, you know? You need all the help you can get. And these Githyanki, they’re tough cookies, so having them on your side is a good thing. This whole “Gather Your Allies” thing, it’s important, don’t forget it.
Fighting Voss, or Not
Now, sometimes things go sideways, you know? Maybe you get a bee in your bonnet and decide you don’t like Voss after all. Maybe you meet him down in the sewers – why anyone would want to go down there is beyond me, stinks somethin’ awful – and you decide to throw down.
Well, if you attack him, he ain’t gonna stick around and let you beat on him. He’ll call you a traitor and poof, he’s gone! Teleports away like a scared rabbit. Unless, of course, you’re really strong and fast and can take him down in one go. But that ain’t easy, let me tell you.
Getting Voss to Your Camp
Some folks are confused about how to get this Voss fella to show up at your camp in the first place. It’s simple, really. You gotta leave the temple, wherever that is, and then go somewhere else, anywhere else. Just teleport yourself, like magic. And then, boom! The game takes you right to the camp, and Voss will be there, waitin’ for ya.
So, what’s the deal with Voss?
So, that’s the long and short of it. This Voss, he’s a key player in this Baldur’s Gate 3 story. He’s got his own agenda, and he might be helpful, or he might be trouble. It all depends on what you do and what choices you make. It’s like life, you know? Full of twists and turns, and you just gotta do the best you can with what you got.
Just remember, listen to folks, pay attention to what’s happening, and don’t be afraid to make a decision. And for goodness sake, stay out of the sewers if you can help it!
Meeting Voss
Voss is supposed to be a “good” Githyanki leader. Seems like you meet him in Baldur’s Gate city itself, not earlier in the game. You gotta decide if you trust him or not, which is a big part of this whole game, trusting folks. Sometimes they’re good, sometimes they’re bad, and sometimes they’re somewhere in between. It’s like judging a pie at the county fair, you gotta look at all the ingredients and see how they all come together.
Remember to take your time, think things through, and don’t rush into anything. And that’s all I got to say about that Voss fella.
