Well now, let me tell ya ’bout this Laredo Firearms place, over in Akila City. I ain’t never been to no Akila City myself, mind you, but I heard tell it’s on some planet called Akila, in the Cheyenne System. Sounds fancy, don’t it? Like them fellers in them space movies.

Anyways, this Laredo Firearms, it’s a store, see? Like where you go to get your, uh, your shootin’ irons. Guns, I mean. They got all sorts, I reckon. Never seen ’em myself, but they say they got enough to make a whole army happy. Them city folk, always needin’ their guns, I guess.

Now, I hear tell this Akila City is a big place. Lots of folks livin’ there, and they got all sorts of things goin’ on. Enemies, they say. Folks you don’t wanna mess with. And NPCs, whatever them are. Just more people, I figure. And areas, and biomes…sounds like a bunch of fancy words for places and things to me.

• They got resources too, I hear. Stuff you need, I guess. Like food, and water, and maybe them shiny rocks they use for money in the city.
• This Laredo Firearms place, it’s a vendor, they call it. That just means a store, like I said. Where you buy things. They got items, whatever that means. Probably just more guns and bullets and stuff.
• And missions, they say. Sounds like work to me. Them city folk always needin’ someone to do somethin’ for ’em. Probably pay you good though, if you ain’t scared of them enemies.

Now, this ain’t the same as that Laredo down in Texas, mind you. I heard about that place on the TV once. Big city, lots of folks. They say it’s good for raisin’ a family, but I ain’t so sure. Too many people for my likin’. And they talk all fancy, with their “metropolitan areas” and whatnot. Just means a big bunch of houses and people, as far as I can tell.

This Laredo in Texas, they got a lot of folks, more’n you can shake a stick at. And they got this border thing goin’ on, with another Laredo over in Mexico. Sounds complicated to me. But they all speak English, mostly, so I guess they get along alright. And they got good schools, they say. Better than most, which is somethin’, I reckon.

But this Akila City Laredo Firearms, that’s somethin’ different. That’s in space, see? On another planet. Gotta be a whole different kettle of fish out there. I bet they got spaceships and laser guns and all sorts of things we ain’t even dreamed of. And this store, it’s right in the middle of it all, sellin’ guns to whoever needs ’em. Probably city folk, mostly. And them space cowboys, I bet.

So, if you ever find yourself in Akila City, on that planet Akila, you might wanna check out this Laredo Firearms place. Just be careful, though. Them city folk can be a bit shifty, and you never know what kinda trouble you might find yourself in. But if you need a good gun, well, I reckon that’s the place to go.

And don’t forget to look around for them other things them city folks talk about…the items and the missions and such. Just keep your wits about ya, and you’ll be alright.

I tell ya, this space stuff, it’s somethin’ else. Makes my head spin just thinkin’ about it. But I reckon it’s the future, or somethin’ like that. So maybe it’s good to know about these places, even if you ain’t never gonna see ’em yourself. You never know when some feller from Akila City might show up at your door, lookin’ for directions…or a gun.
