Well, let me tell ya ’bout these sonar station bounties, whatever them things are. Folks keep jabberin’ about ’em, so I figured I’d try and make sense of it all. Sounds like a bunch of hooey to me, but hey, maybe there’s somethin’ to it.
Now, from what I gather, these bounties, they don’t give ya no “sonar station reputation,” like some fancy title or somethin’. Nope. All they give ya is this “XP” stuff. I ain’t got a clue what that is, but sounds like it helps ya level up or somethin’. Kids these days with their fancy words.
If you’re lookin’ to get that “sonar station rep,” you gotta do this “Salvage” and “Deep Dive” stuff. Sounds like hard work to me. Probably involves gettin’ your hands dirty, which I ain’t afraid of, mind you. But still, sounds like a lot of fuss.
Here’s the thing, though, if you wanna make things easier on yourself, you gotta wear four pieces of this “seasonal armor.” I reckon it’s like puttin’ on your work clothes before you go out to the fields. Makes things a bit more bearable, I suppose.
- Get yourself all them bounties, whatever they are.
- Then go do them “Deep Dives.” Sounds like diggin’ holes to me, but maybe it’s different.
- And while you’re at it, try to finish them bounties. Kill two birds with one stone, as they say.
Now, if you get all tuckered out from all that divin’ and salvagin’, you can go fishin’. Apparently, you get a whole mess of bait from doin’ them other things, so you might as well use it. Fishin’s always been a good way to relax, even if you don’t catch nothin’.
Some folks say these bounties disappear when the “season” ends. Like crops, I guess. They come and they go. So, if you wanna get the most outta them, you gotta do ’em while you can.
And if you’re in a hurry to move up them ranks, whatever that means, these bounties are the way to go. Seems like everybody’s always in a rush these days. Ain’t got time to just sit and enjoy the sunshine.
Now, this “sonar station,” it’s like a store or somethin’, I guess. They sell stuff, and if you do enough work for ’em, they give you better stuff. Seems simple enough. You scratch their back, they scratch yours.
To get that “sonar station reputation” up, you gotta do them “season of the deep” activities. That’s the “Salvage,” “Deep Dive,” and fishin’ I was talkin’ about earlier. And if you wear that special armor, you get even more “reputation.” It’s like wearin’ a uniform to show you’re part of the team, I reckon.
Use them “salvage keys” while you’re doin’ the “Salvage.” Apparently, that’s the fastest way to get things done. And don’t forget, fishin’ gives you a whole lotta that “XP” stuff. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy.
They say there’s 17 ranks at this sonar station. That’s a lot of ranks, if you ask me. But you only gotta get to rank 16 to get all the good stuff. They give you some “engrams,” which I guess are like presents, and some keys, and this “ascendant alloy” thing. Sounds fancy. And an “exotic ship?” Well, I’ll be. Maybe I should try this stuff after all.
So, that’s the long and short of it. These sonar station bounties are a way to get stuff and move up in the world, or at least in this “sonar station” world. Seems like a lot of work, but maybe it’s worth it. I still don’t understand half of it, but I reckon that’s just the way things are these days. Too much fancy talk for this old woman.
