Well, howdy there, y’all! Let’s yak about them “7 Deadly Sins” and some other shows like it, you know, them animes. My grandkids, they love this stuff, so I kinda picked up a thing or two watchin’ with ’em.
First off, what in tarnation are the “7 Deadly Sins”? It ain’t about stuff you do on Sunday, I’ll tell ya that. It’s this here show, real popular with the young’uns. Lots of fightin’, magic, and folks goin’ on adventures. Reminds me a bit of them old cowboy movies, just with more… glitter.
So, if you like them “7 Deadly Sins,” here’s a few others you might cotton to. Now, I ain’t no fancy TV critic, but I know what I like, and I reckon these are pretty good.
First up, we got “Black Clover.” This one’s about a boy who can’t use no magic, which is a big deal in their world. But he don’t let that stop him, no sir! He’s got this loud mouth and a never-give-up attitude. Kinda like my Billy when he was tryin’ to catch that greased pig at the county fair. Anyways, “Black Clover” is full of action and magic, just like “7 Deadly Sins”. You got your good guys, bad guys, and lots of yelling. It’s a hoot, I tell ya.
- Lots of magic and fightin’.
- A main fella who’s always yelling and never quits.
- Plenty of funny moments mixed in with the serious stuff.
Then there’s “Fairy Tail.” This one’s about a bunch of wizards in a guild. They go on quests, fight bad guys, and cause a whole heap of trouble. It’s got that same feel-good vibe as “7 Deadly Sins,” you know? Folks stickin’ together and helpin’ each other out. Plus, there’s a talking cat, which is just plain silly, but I like it. They stick together tighter than burrs on a dog’s tail, those Fairy Tail folks.
Another one my grandkids rave about is “My Hero Academia.” This ain’t no magic show, though. It’s about superheroes, but they go to school to learn how to be heroes. Kinda like regular school, but with more explosions and less math, thank goodness. The main fella, this young’un named Deku, he starts out as a weakling but he’s got a good heart. Reminds me of my Elmer, bless his soul, always tryin’ his best even when he couldn’t lift a bale of hay. It’s got lots of action and characters growin’ stronger, just like in “7 Deadly Sins.” Plus, it makes ya think about what it really means to be a hero, which is more than just punchin’ bad guys, I reckon.
“Hunter x Hunter” is another good’un. This one’s a bit darker than the others, but it’s still got that adventure feel. A boy named Gon sets out to become a Hunter, which is like a super adventurer, I guess. He meets all sorts of folks, some good, some bad, and some just plain weird. It’s got some real sad parts, but it’s also got a lot of heart. And the fight scenes are somethin’ else, let me tell you. They fight harder than a rooster in a hen house fight.
Now, don’t forget about “Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.” This one’s about two brothers who try to bring their mama back to life with alchemy, which is like magic but with science, I think. It goes wrong, real wrong. They gotta go on a big journey to fix things, and they learn a lot along the way. It’s got some deep stuff in it, about family and sacrifice and all that. But it’s also got plenty of action and cool powers. They got problems bigger than a cow stuck in a mud puddle, them boys.
And then there’s “One Piece.” Lawdy, this one’s long! But it’s worth it. It’s about a fella named Luffy who wants to be the King of the Pirates. He gathers a crew, and they sail around the world lookin’ for treasure and havin’ adventures. It’s funny, it’s exciting, and it’s got some real touching moments. And it just keeps going and going, like the Energizer Bunny my grandson got for his birthday once. There’s more episodes than there are chickens on a farm, but they’re all worth a watch, I reckon. This show’s got more heart than a whole field of sunflowers.
So, there you have it. A few shows like “7 Deadly Sins” that you might enjoy. They ain’t all exactly the same, but they got that same spirit of adventure and friendship. And ain’t that what matters most? Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make some supper. All this talk about fightin’ and magic has made me hungry.
