Well now, let’s talk about this ESO Xbox One patch thing, or whatever you young folks call it. I hear tell it’s got somethin’ to do with fixin’ the game. My grandson, he plays this Elder Scrolls thing all the time, so I reckon it’s important.
Seems like they got some problems, y’know? Like this “2-Sided Battlegrounds” thing. Folks was meddlin’ and bein’ lazy, ain’t that just like people? So they had to go and fix it. Probably some young whippersnappers causin’ trouble. Anyways, they fixed it so you can’t be meddlin’ no more, and you gotta stay active. Keeps things fair, I guess.
- Meddlin’ and inactivity ain’t tolerated anymore, they say!
- Now gotta play fair in them Battlegrounds, no more slacking!
And then there’s this “ongoing issue” they keep talkin’ about. Don’t rightly know what it is, but they’re workin’ on it, that’s what they say. Seems like every time they fix somethin’, somethin’ else breaks. Like fixin’ a hole in your roof, just for another one to pop up somewhere else. Never ends, does it?
They got all these numbers and letters, like “v1.37.1.0” and “v10.2.5.” Makes my head spin, it does. But I guess it means somethin’ to them fancy folks. This 1.37.1.0 patch, they say it fixes a bunch of problems from Update 43. See? More problems! Like I said, never ends. And that other one, 10.2.5, it fixes bugs in somethin’ called “Gold Road” and “Necrom.” Sounds like fancy places, not like my dusty ol’ farm.
Now, my grandson, he told me you don’t gotta do nothin’ to get this patch. If there’s a new version, the game just does it itself. Like magic, almost. But sometimes, it ain’t so smooth. They had this problem with “blockin’” – whatever that means – and had to put it back the way it was before Update 36. See? They fix it, then they gotta unfix it. Makes ya wonder, don’t it?
They also fixed enchantments, those things you put on your weapons, I think. Seems like sometimes they just wouldn’t work. Like buyin’ a new shovel and the handle falls off the first time you use it. Waste of money, that is. But they fixed it, so that’s good. These fancy folks say these fixes are important for us commoners. Don’t know if they really understand us, mind you.
Heard tell there’s new maps too and some changes to them Battlegrounds. Used to be 4 versus 4 versus 4, now it’s just 4 versus 4 or 8 versus 8. Sounds like a whole heap of people fightin’. And they added seven new maps! Seven! That’s a lot of new places to get lost in, if you ask me. They also got new rewards and things, to keep you young folks busy. Lord knows what trouble you’d get into otherwise.
Seems this Update 44 is a big one. They talk about Galen, this island place, and druids. My grandson, he likes all that fantasy stuff. New item sets and collectibles, too. Keeps him busy, I guess. Better than him causin’ trouble in town.
And then there’s this thing about “quality of life improvements.” Sounds fancy, don’t it? But it’s just makin’ the game easier to play, I reckon. Like fixin’ that squeaky door that’s been drivin’ you crazy for months. They try their best, mind you.
They also talk about PS4 and PS5, but I don’t know nothin’ about that. Sounds like more fancy gadgets to me. I’m just tryin’ to understand this Xbox thing, and it’s hard enough as it is. But as long as my grandson is happy, I reckon it’s all good. Kids these days, always with their nose in a screen.
- New maps and leaderboards for the young’ns to explore!
- Big changes to Battlegrounds, more fightin’ now!
- Lots of fixes and new things, keepin’ those youngsters occupied!
So, there you have it. That’s all I know about this ESO Xbox One patch thing. Sounds like a lot of work for them fancy folks, and a lot of fun for the young’uns. Me? I’ll stick to my garden and my chickens. At least I understand them.
