Anyways, ya get to play as the folks who went up against him, tryin’ to beat him and all that. They got all sorts of matches, relivin’ his big moments, ya know? It’s like watchin’ TV, but ya get to be the one doin’ the punchin’. And they say ya unlock stuff, which is always good, I guess. More stuff to play with, ain’t it?
• Universe Mode: Now, this is where it gets interestin’, at least to me. Ya get to be the boss, kinda. Ya decide who fights who, who wins, who’s the champ. Ya can do it the regular way, or ya can be a superstar yourself, guidin’ your own wrestler to the top. It’s like playin’ with dolls, but with more muscles and smackin’. Some folks say there’s things ya shouldn’t do, mistakes ya can make, but heck, I say just have fun with it. It’s your game, ain’t it?
• MyFACTION Mode: This one’s new, they say. It’s about collectin’ cards and buildin’ a team, like tradin’ cards but ya get to fight with ’em. I ain’t never been one for card games, myself, but some folks like it. Seems complicated, though. Too much thinkin’ for me, I’d rather just wrestle.

Then ya got all sorts of other matches, ya know? Regular one-on-one fights, tag teams, cage matches, all that jazz. Enough to keep ya busy for a good long while, I’d say. You can play on your computer, or on that Playstation thing, or the Xbox. Kids these days, they got so many gadgets. Back in my day, we just wrestled in the backyard, no fancy screens or nothin’.

They also let ya make your own entrances for the wrestlers, which is kinda neat. Ya can pick the music, the lights, all that fancy stuff. Like puttin’ on a show, ya see? They say they messed it up before, in that 2k20 game, but they fixed it up good now. So, if ya like makin’ things pretty, ya can spend hours just doin’ that, I bet.

And this momentum thing they got in the Universe Mode, that’s somethin’ new too. Ya win matches, ya get momentum, and then ya can use it to make sure ya win the big matches, the ones on TV, ya know? It’s like buildin’ up steam, I guess. Get hot, stay hot, that’s the way to win, ain’t it?

WWE 2k23, it’s got somethin’ for everyone, I reckon. Whether ya wanna relive the old days with John Cena, be the boss man makin’ all the decisions, collect them cards, or just beat the tar outta some folks, there’s a mode for ya. And it’s on all them fancy new game machines, so ya can play it wherever ya want. Just remember, it’s all just for fun. Don’t go gettin’ too riled up, now. It’s just a game, after all.

And speakin’ of wrestlers, they say this game can show ya how some of them fellas got famous, like that fella, the one everyone says is the best ever. Ya get to play through their careers, I guess, see how they did it. That’s kinda cool, learnin’ somethin’ while ya play. Though, I still say most of them fancy moves are just for show. A good ol’ clothesline, that’s all ya really need.

You can get it by winning matches and you can cash out by rivals to set an outcome at Premium Live Event matches. Sounds complicated if you ask me, but I guess the youngin’s like this sort of thing.
