Alright, so you’re playin’ that Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth game, huh? And you’re stuck on this “Coastal Lookout” thing? Don’t you worry none, I’ll tell ya what I know. It ain’t rocket science, that’s for sure.
First off, this “coastal lookout” thing? Well, that just means you gotta go to the beach, or somewhere near the water. Maybe a cliff overlookin’ the ocean? I reckon that’s a lookout. Go find a tower on a cliff by the water, that’s what they say. Sounds simple enough, even for an old gal like me.
Now, once you get there, to this here “Coastal Lookout,” there’s gonna be stuff to find. They say there’s some “mellow oak” and some “timber.” Sounds like wood to me. You probably need that wood for somethin’, fixin’ somethin’ up or buildin’ somethin’. Games these days, always makin’ you collect stuff. Reminds me of gatherin’ firewood back in the day.
- Mellow Oak
- Timber
But this ain’t just about gatherin’ wood, no sirree. This here “Coastal Lookout” is part of somethin’ bigger, somethin’ they call “Phenomenon Intel.” Sounds fancy, don’t it? Basically, you gotta fight some bandits. Yeah, those no-good ruffians are causin’ trouble again. You gotta beat ’em up to unlock somethin’ called a “Protorelic.” Don’t ask me what that is, sounds like somethin’ old and important.
This whole “Phenomenon Intel” thing, it’s like a bunch of side quests. You know, little jobs you do on the side. This one’s in the Grasslands, they say. And it’s all about beatin’ up those thugs you met in Midgar, remember them? Always causin’ a ruckus.
Now, to find these bandits, you gotta go north. They say there’s a hidden path, kinda secluded. Leads right to their hideout. But when you get there, they might already be dead. Maybe somebody beat you to it? Or maybe they just… fell down. Wouldn’t be the first time. Stranger things have happened.
And listen to this, there’s this fella named Johnny, he needs amethysts. Two of ‘em. Sounds like he’s in the Coral region. You gotta find those amethysts for him, part of his quest, I guess. Always somebody needin’ somethin’ in these games.
Oh, and another thing, there’s this fella Beck. You gotta pay him 2000 Gil. Two thousand! That’s a lot of money, even in a game. Seems like you can’t get around it, gotta pay the man. They say it’s the last thing you gotta do for that quest. And if you finish this “Protorelic” thing, they say you get a big reward. A summon, whatever that is, and you can make some fancy accessories. Sounds like it’s worth the trouble.
And if you’re lookin’ for clues for this “Protorelic” thing, and you can’t find them bandits, they say there’s a rusty gate, north of the Kalm Air-Raid Shelter. Just use that fast travel thing, go through the gate. Sounds easy enough, just follow the directions, that’s what I always say. Can’t get lost if you know where you’re goin’. And if you do get lost, just ask for directions. Ain’t no shame in that.
So, there you have it. That’s what I know about this “Coastal Lookout” in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. Go find that tower, beat up them bandits, gather that wood, and help out Johnny and Beck. And don’t forget to get that big reward. Now go on, get to it! You ain’t got all day.
