Alright, listen up, y’all. We gonna talk about this… whatchamacallit… Mystra thingy in that BG3 game. My grandkids keep yappin’ about it, so I figured I’d try and make some sense of it for ya.

Now, from what I gather, this Mystra, she’s some kinda big-shot goddess. Real powerful, like. And in this game, you gotta do stuff to, you know, make her happy or somethin’. It’s all tied up with this fella named Gale, seems he’s got a thing with her.

Mystra Offering BG3: What You Should Know First

First thing you gotta do, see, is get yourself some buddies. Can’t go around doin’ this hero stuff all by yourself, that’s just plain dumb. So, find yourself some companions. They’ll help you fight and do other stuff, I guess.

  • Get strong friends!
  • Find good weapons and armor, the shiny stuff!
  • Do quests that sound important, they probably are.

Then, you gotta get yourself some good gear. You know, swords, shields, that kinda thing. Can’t fight a bear with a stick, can ya? So, look around for quality gear. The shinier the better, I say. My grandpappy always said, “A shiny sword is a lucky sword.” He was a wise old fella, even if he smelled like onions most of the time.

And while you’re at it, try to get some of them permanent bonuses. I ain’t exactly sure what them are, but they sound important. Like, maybe they make you stronger or faster or somethin’. Anything that helps you whup some butt is good in my book.

Now, about this Gale fella. He wants to be a god, which is a pretty big deal, I reckon. You gotta help him out with his personal quest. It starts slow, like, he just tells you about his problems. Then this other fella, Elminster, shows up. He’s talkin’ for Mystra, see? So you know it’s important.

To get Gale all god-like, you gotta finish his quest and tell him to fix this Crown thingy. Sounds fancy. Gotta keep pushin’ him, tellin’ him he can do it. Like when I told my boy Billy he could learn to ride a bike even after he fell and scraped his knee. He cried a lot, but he learned, didn’t he?

Now, this game, it’s got different acts, like a play. In the first act, you gotta do all this important stuff. Recruit them buddies, get that good gear, start them important quests. If you don’t do it right in the beginnin’, you gonna have a hard time later on.

And if you’re just startin’ out, playin’ this game for the first time, some classes are easier than others. My grandson told me the fighter types are good for beginners. Like the Berserker, Barbarian, Dwarven Defender, and Archer. Sounds like a lot of noise and fightin’, which is always fun to watch, even if I don’t understand half of it.

So, to make Mystra happy, or whatever you gotta do, focus on Gale. Help him with his quest. Get him that Crown thing. And don’t forget to get yourself some strong friends and some good gear. It’s like bakin’ a cake, you gotta have all the right ingredients or it just ain’t gonna turn out right.

Oh, and one more thing. If you’re looking for some statues, they’re in the tabernacle. Whatever that is. Probably some fancy church-lookin’ place. My Agnes always said I should go to church more, but I told her, “Agnes, prayin’ ain’t gonna get the cows milked.” Hard work, that’s what gets things done.

So, there you have it. My take on this Mystra business. Hope it helps you young’uns figure out that game. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go feed the chickens. Them birds are always squawkin’ for somethin’.

Important stuff to remember: Get good friends, find shiny weapons, help that Gale guy become a god, and don’t forget the tabernacle statues. And pick an easy class if you’re new. Now go on, git!
