Alright, let’s talk about this Project Zomboid March Ridge place. Folks keep askin’ me about it, so I figured I’d spill what I know. Now, I ain’t no fancy city slicker, so don’t expect no big words or nothin’. Just plain talk, ya hear?
First off, some say March Ridge ain’t worth a lick. They say there ain’t no good stuff there, no army stores or big warehouses like you find in other towns. But them folks, they just ain’t lookin’ hard enough, I reckon.
See, March Ridge, she’s a tricky one. Not as easy as Rosewood, that’s for sure. Rosewood’s like a Sunday picnic compared to this place. And it ain’t as tough as West Point neither. West Point… well, that’s just a death trap if you ask me. Too many of them… things… walkin’ around. March Ridge is somewhere in the middle, a bit of a rough-and-tumble kinda place.
But lemme tell ya, there’s good stuff in March Ridge if you know where to look. Them apartments, yeah, the big ones, they can be goldmines. Sometimes, you find one all boarded up, like someone was livin’ in it even after… well, after everything went to hell. Those ones, they got the good stuff. Canned food, tools, maybe even a gun if you’re lucky. It’s like hittin’ the jackpot, but you gotta be careful. Lots of them… things… crawlin’ around them apartments.
- Loot in March Ridge: It ain’t easy to find, but it’s there. You gotta search every nook and cranny. Check under the beds, in the closets, even in the darn toilets. You never know where folks hid their stuff.
- Difficulty: Like I said, it’s harder than Rosewood, easier than West Point. A good place to test your mettle, but don’t go in there thinkin’ it’s gonna be a walk in the park.
- Apartments: These are the key. Find a good apartment building, and you’re set. But be warned, them apartments are dangerous. Lots of corners, lots of dark hallways… perfect for them… things… to hide.
Now, some folks say the southeast part of town is a bit easier. Fewer of them… things… wanderin’ around the houses there, they say. I ain’t been down there much myself, but it might be a good place to start if you’re new to March Ridge. Get your feet wet, ya know?
And remember, what you gotta do, you gotta grab what you can. Don’t be picky. Every can of beans, every bandage, every rusty pipe… it all counts. ‘Cause out there, it ain’t about livin’ pretty, it’s about livin’, period. And March Ridge, well, it’s a place where you can do just that, if you’re smart and you’re tough.
So, is March Ridge worth it? I reckon it is. It ain’t the easiest place to survive, but it ain’t the hardest neither. And if you can find one of them special apartments… well, you’ll be livin’ like a king, or as close to a king as you can get in this godforsaken world, anyway. You just gotta be prepared to fight for it. ‘Cause those… things… they ain’t gonna give you nothin’ for free.
Surviving March Ridge ain’t just about findin’ loot, though. It’s about knowin’ where to go, knowin’ when to fight, and knowin’ when to run. It’s about usin’ your head, not just your brawn. ‘Cause them… things… they might be dumb, but there’s a whole lot of ‘em. And they don’t get tired, and they don’t give up. So, you gotta be smarter, and you gotta be tougher. And if you are, well, you might just make it in March Ridge.
One last thing. Don’t go wanderin’ around at night. That’s when them… things… get real active. Find yourself a safe place, board up the windows, and stay put till the sun comes up. Trust me on this one. I seen too many folks go out at night and never come back. And that ain’t a pretty sight, let me tell ya.
So, there you have it. My two cents on March Ridge. Take it or leave it. But if you do decide to go, be careful, be smart, and don’t be a fool. And maybe, just maybe, you’ll live to tell the tale.
