Well, let me tell ya ’bout this Solo Leveling Rangnarok manga, or whatever they call it. It’s like this, there’s this young fella, Sung Suho, and he’s the son of some big-shot hunter, Sung Jinwoo.
Now, Jinwoo, he was somethin’ else, always fightin’ monsters and closin’ them pesky gates. But now, it’s Suho’s turn. The apple don’t fall far from the tree, they say. This Suho kid, he’s gotta pick up where his daddy left off.
This whole Solo Leveling Ragnarok thing, it’s a new story, a sequel they call it. It started up on that Webtoon thingy on August 1st, 2024. Don’t ask me what a Webtoon is, it’s some newfangled contraption the youngsters use.
- So, the world’s in trouble again, gates openin’ up, monsters pourin’ out.
- And guess who gotta deal with it? Yep, young Suho.
This JIN fella draws the pictures, and some Daul person writes the story. They also got a book version, a “web novel,” they call it. Comes out on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays on somethin’ called Tapas. They started puttin’ it in English on October 28th, 2024. It’s got ’bout half as many chapters as the first story, the one ’bout Jinwoo.
Suho, he’s gotta go into these shadow dungeons, fight monsters, and learn all about his daddy’s legacy. Legacy, that’s just a fancy word for what his daddy did before him. Sounds like a lot of work for a young fella if you ask me.
This here Ragnarok thing, it’s a big deal. Folks are always lookin’ for the new chapters. Like, Chapter 32 came out on December 12th, and Chapter 29 before that on November 21st. They come out on Thursdays, seems like. People get all worked up waitin’ for ’em.
I ain’t read too much of it myself. All that fightin’ and magic, it ain’t my cup of tea. But my grandson, he’s glued to it. Says it’s the best thing since sliced bread. Kids these days, with their picture books and their internets.
From what I gather, it’s ’bout Suho gettin’ stronger, just like his daddy. He’s gotta face tougher monsters, and there’s some kinda mystery ’bout his daddy’s past he’s gotta figure out. And there’s all these other hunters, some good, some bad, you know how it goes.
It’s like them old Kung Fu movies, but with magic and monsters. And the pictures, they’re real pretty. Even an old lady like me can appreciate that. All them colors and fancy lines, it’s somethin’ else.
So, if you like them action stories, with a bit of mystery and magic thrown in, this Solo Leveling Rangnarok manga might be right up your alley. Just don’t ask me too many questions ’bout it, ’cause I ain’t no expert. I’m just tellin’ ya what I hear and what I see when that grandson of mine is readin’ it.
Now, back in my day, we didn’t have all these fancy mangas and Webtoons. We had books, real books, with paper and words. But I guess times change, and folks like different things now. As long as it keeps them young’uns entertained, I ain’t complainin’. Though, I still think they should spend more time outside, gettin’ some fresh air.
Anyway, that’s the gist of it. Sung Suho, fightin’ monsters, followin’ in his daddy’s footsteps. Gates openin’, shadows dungeons, the whole shebang. If you wanna know more, go read it yourself. Just don’t blame me if you get hooked. These stories, they can suck you right in, I tell ya.
And one last thing, don’t go thinkin’ this is just some kid’s stuff. Plenty of grown-ups read it too. Seems like everyone loves a good story, no matter how old they are. So, go on, give it a try. Maybe you’ll like it, maybe you won’t. But at least you can say you gave it a shot. And maybe, just maybe, you’ll understand why my grandson spends so much time starin’ at that little screen of his.
