Star Citizen, that there space game, you know? It’s got all sorts of stuff in it, like, buildin’ things. And for buildin’, you need stuff, right? Construction materials, that’s what they call it. Fancy, huh? I just call it junk you build with.

So, you wanna know about this junk, eh? Well, lemme tell ya, it ain’t as simple as pickin’ up rocks in a field. Though, sometimes, it feels like it! You go around, doin’ stuff, and you get this junk in your… whatchamacallit… buffer. Yeah, that’s it. Like a big ol’ pocket, but in space. This pocket, it gets filled up with all sorts of things you pick up like scrap and what have you.

Star Citizen Construction Materials: Best Places to Buy & Sell

Now, what do you do with a pocket full of junk? You sell it, of course! Can’t let it sit there and stink up the place. In this here Star Citizen, they got places for that. Big places, like cities, they call ’em landing zones. Orison, that’s one. Fancy name, but it’s just a place to sell your stuff. They got these trade thingies there. Trade and Development Division, they call it. Sounds important, but it’s just a place where you dump your junk and they give you money. And scrap yards too. Oh, and that Grim HEX place. Sounds scary, but it ain’t so bad. Just another place to sell your trash and what not.

  • Orison – A big city, lots of buyers.
  • Trade and Development Division – Fancy name for the junk shop.
  • Scrapyards – Just like it sounds, a place for junk.
  • Grim HEX – Don’t let the name fool ya, they buy stuff too.

But listen here, this ain’t like sellin’ eggs at the market. You gotta be careful. This junk, it’s stored in the same place as your RMC. Don’t ask me what that means, it’s just more space junk. But you gotta get rid of that RMC stuff before you start… disintegratin’ things. Yeah, that’s the word they use. Sounds messy, if you ask me. Basically, you break down stuff to make other stuff. But you gotta be careful or you’ll lose the good stuff, not the junk you want to get rid of.

Then there’s this mineral stuff. Rocks, basically. You can sell ’em just like they are, raw they call it. Or you can… what’s the word… refine ‘em. Make ‘em better, I guess. Worth more, that’s for sure. You get more money that way. You go to these places they call refineries. Makes sense, right? They got ‘em in the landing zones too. Port Olisar, Crusader, Grim Hex again… places with big names, but just places to sell rocks.

And let me tell ya, keepin’ an eye on the prices is important. Don’t want them city folk swindlin’ you, see? You go to these kiosks, fancy machines, and they tell you how much your junk is worth. Most of them landing zones and space stations, they got ‘em. But not all of ‘em buy everything, so you gotta shop around. And don’t be sellin’ cheap, you hear? You work hard for that junk, make sure you get a good price. Look at the numbers, make sure they ain’t cheatin’ ya. Those city folk think they can pull a fast one on ya.

You fill up these containers, SCU containers they call ’em. Big boxes for your junk. Fill ‘em up with RMC and head off to sell ‘em. Think of it as fillin’ up your basket with eggs and takin’ ‘em to market. Same thing, just in space with fancy names. Find the right kiosk, make sure the price is right, and sell, sell, sell. That’s how you make your money in Star Citizen, see? Findin’ junk, hauling’ junk, sellin’ junk. It’s a hard life, but someone’s gotta do it. It ain’t honest work like farmin’ but it pays the bills or the space bills, as they say.

So, that’s the long and short of it. Star Citizen construction materials. It’s about gettin’ junk, sellin’ junk, and makin’ a livin’ in space. Just remember, watch your prices, don’t get swindled, and keep that buffer clean. You do that, and you’ll be just fine.
