Alright, so listen up, y’all. This here “ai the somnium files 3” thing, I ain’t exactly sure what it is, but I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout it down at the market. Sounds like one of them fancy games them city kids play, all about detectives and robots and such. Now, I ain’t never seen no robot myself, ‘cept for that time the washing machine went haywire, but that’s a whole ‘nother story.
From what I gather, this game, this “ai the somnium files 3,” it’s got somethin’ to do with special agents. Special agents, mind you, not just regular folks like us. These agents, Mizuki and Ryuki, they got themselves some AI partners. AI, that’s Artificial Intelligence, like them computers that think for themselves. Heard tell they’re called Aiba and Tama. Sounds like a dog’s name, don’t it? My old Bessie was a good dog, bless her heart.
Anyway, these agents and their AI buddies, they’re solvin’ mysteries, murder mysteries to be exact. Like them TV shows where somebody gets knocked off and they gotta figure out who done it. ‘Cept this ain’t no TV show, it’s a game, you get to be the detective yourself. Well, not really yourself, you’re playin’ as this fella named Kaname Date. He’s chasin’ after some killer, a real bad egg, apparently.
Now, I ain’t much for games, myself. Give me a good book and a rocking chair on the porch any day. But these young’uns, they love this stuff. They say it’s thrilling, got all sorts of twists and turns. And it ain’t just one game, seems like there’s been others before it, like a “somnium files 1” and a “somnium files 2.” This “nirvanA Initiative” thing, that’s part of it too, seems like. Too many numbers and fancy words for my likin’.
- Special Agents: Mizuki and Ryuki, they’re the main folks, the detectives.
- AI Partners: Aiba and Tama, these are the robot helpers, the brains of the operation, I guess.
- Kaname Date: He’s the detective you play as in the game, the one chasin’ the bad guy.
- Murder Mystery: That’s the whole point, figurin’ out who done the killin’.
Folks are always talkin’ ’bout where to buy this game, cheap as possible, of course. Seems like you can get it for your computer or for that Nintendo thingy the grandkids are always hollerin’ about. “Deluxe Edition,” “Collector’s Edition,” they got all sorts of names for it. Just makes it more confusing, if you ask me. They even got websites, these “*” and “Best Buy” places, where you can compare prices. Landsakes, back in my day, you just went to the store and bought what you needed, none of this fancy internet stuff.
They say this “ai the somnium files 3” is a sequel, a continuation of the other games. Written by some fella named Kotaro Uchikoshi and directed by another one, Akira Okada. Big names, I reckon, in the game world. But I ain’t never heard of ’em. Give me a good old gospel singer any day.
So, that’s the gist of it, as far as I can tell. This “ai the somnium files 3” is a game about detectives and robots, solvin’ murders and whatnot. It’s got a bunch of fancy words and editions, and it costs a pretty penny, from what I hear. But if you’re into that sort of thing, I guess it’s right up your alley. Me? I’ll stick to my crossword puzzles and my gardenin’. That’s excitin’ enough for this old lady.
And remember, kids, don’t go spendin’ all your money on these games. Save a little for a rainy day, ya hear?
